How stupid do you have to be to purchase a Chevy due to their commercials?

It has to be the advertising campaign most geared toward toward people with mid double digit IQs I've ever seen. I mean one of them just shows a a big fricking elevator in the middle of a warehouse, another has them comparing a handsaw to a buzzsaw and automatically means Chevy is the best, and of course the Chevy Emoji commercial which just drives the point home that they think we're all retarded.
But the two worst have to be these: First off the one where they drop stones into trucks, and the trucks not having bed liners. Who the frick doesn't get a truck without a bed liner? Plus no one is going to be dropping massive stone blocks 5 feet over your car.
But here is the most ridiculous: Letting a bear lose on people hoping they get in the cage before they're mauled to death. And keep in mind they're saying "Real people. Not actors". What do you think the chances of Chevy putting a random guy in a room with a bear with no warning that a bear was coming out of there? Did they not think they'd be sued for hundreds of millions? What about how the board/upper management would feel once they found out the boys in marketing recklessly risking people's lives for such a dumb idea of a commercial. And then they start fawning over the Chevy when the doors are opened.
These drive me insane. They're clearly actors in these commercials. Anyone who has bought a Chevy due to one of those commercials is an idiot.

Isn't all advertising geared towards people with low IQs?

Bob Seger still does it for me.

there's one where the guy says put the trophy by the one you think won the award. then he says nope, you're all wrong, they all won.
well, how can they all be wrong then?

Well, I mean, they have won the JD Power and Associates award for initial quality more than any other car company.
I have no idea what their repair and service record is or resale value or how well the car holds up, but thylat brand new car out the dealership before you drive it sure is nice.

Yep. Need to go back to Bob Seger singing "Like a rock" and showing trucks splashing through mud and hauling hay.
I also miss Hank Jr. opening up monday night football. Some things should never change.

Newsflash. Americans are easily swayed by celebrities and commercials.
Very few people use reasoning, common sense, or wise judgement anymore.
It's why Hollywood is flourishing.

Wow..... but imo Chevy>>>>>>Ford or Dodge.... but I will NOT pay 50,000 for a fricking pick-up truck.......

Jeez, you must have a lot of free time to put that much effort into bitching about a car commercial

Best in "initial" quality 4 years in a row. Too bad they are shite after 3 months.

Kinda can relate:
In the mid 90s I actually called Gerry Lane and told them I would NEVER in my life EVER consider buying anything off their lot b/c of their ad campaign. Told the poor chick it didn't matter if they abandoned it TODAY, the damage was done.
That "You can count on Gerry Lane" hip-hop wanna be jingle...was Hell. Pure Hell.
And that motherfricker haunted local TV for a decade.
