Started in 1994 and stopped attending in 1996. Went back in 2003 and finished my BS in 2004. I waited another 7 years and started my masters in 2011. Finished that up in 2013. Started my PhD in 2014 and finished it 2017.
Each degree was more than worth it.

I'm 32. How long was it? How old were you? Was it worth it? I want to get out of Construction and move into the medical field. Not a nurse though.
I went back to school at 30. I got a degree in Mechanical Engineering and going back was definitely the right thing to do. I recommend a STEM degree and specifically something to do with computers.
I did TIG welding and machining prior to going back to school.

Graduated high school in 71 and went to college hit or miss for 3 years, had 75 hours and about a 1.7 GPA. Quit and worked several different jobs. Went back in 89, I was 36. Went 90% night classes including summers and graduated in 91, 3.9 GPA for that time period. Best thing I’ve ever done.

I was 32. I went through the female nursing students like “ Sherman through Georgia “.
Had a house on University. Groceries , refreshments , and a clean house. The girls loved it.
4 1/2 years of fun. I was “ Back at School “.

I got a Marketing Degree in '82, and wound up "typecast" in retail management. Even employment agencies, where I would have paid the fee, tried to put me in yet other retail management jobs.
I quit work in December '90, enjoyed the holidays for the first time in 8 years, and re-entered LSU in January '91 for a second undergrad in Accounting.
It took two years, but the resulting career was SO worth it. I wouldn't change a thing.

Went back to school when I was 24. 2.5 years and received my masters. I tripled my salary from my previous job. Good decision.

started undergrad at 21, graduated at 26, passed the cpa at 28. went back to summer school at 34 to get my gpa up to the minimum for law school (2.5 I think), then started law school at 35. Graduated at 38. it worked out well i think.

I went to college for 3.5 years, had an okay GPA - but life got in the way, I stopped going and kept pushing off going back.
I was 29 when I finally got off my arse and went back. Most of the jobs I was interested required a BA and most preferred or required an MBA.
I transferred my credits to the school near my work and finished out my last 36 hours. (Took about 3 years, going at night and/or weekends.)
Got my BA, took a semester break and then did an SEC school's online MBA (started at 33) and killed that in 18 months.
Best decision I've ever made - life has had an upward trajectory since. (Not because of the degrees - though that is some of it. Because of the maturity, focus and effort it required of me to finish.)
Also, college girls are fish in a barrel at that age.

Are you the only student in your programs history?

OK, so what do you want to do then? Nursing is a pretty good job. Imaging tech?

Went nights from 2001 to 2008 to get an undergraduate degree. I was 40 when I finished. Didn't really do it for me or my job...just wanted to be a better role model for my kids. They've both finished college now and I'm proud of their accomplishments.
