I'm 32. How long was it? How old were you? Was it worth it? I want to get out of Construction and move into the medical field. Not a nurse though.

I went back at 32 and got my Bachelors and Masters. Was well worth it to do what I wanted to do. I'm much happier in my current job.

How long was it?
7 years-(3 full time)
How old were you? 40
Was it worth it? Yes. Not easy while full time with 2 kids. Make a little less right now but work A LOT LESS. Could make a lot more if I wanted to work more or different location. Lot more options and flexibility in healthcare

41. Started fall of last year. I’ll be finished with my BA next spring then on to my MBA. Not sure if it’s worth it yet. The classes give me something productive to do. I work for a large corp so there should be some place I could go in the company with 20 years experience in the GoM.

I was 32 and I did 4 semesters and a summer but I didnt go full time.
It really just depends on what you need and how many classes you are willing to take each semester.
You can also take clep exams and test out of stuff.

Went back at 25 for mechanical engineering. Took me 3.5 years bc my first undergrad degree was in something completely different and was in another state which meant that I had to take Government and History classes again due to state law. It has been worth every second.
There was a guy there as a civil engineering undergrad that was 55. He worked as a cab driver and in restaurants for decades to put his son through college and over time he saved up enough money to get a degree of his own. I hope he was rewarded with a sweet job when he graduated.

Go to PA school. You can have a degree in English with no clinical experience and be treating and diagnosing people in less than 3 years.
