Friend of mine is one of those fake military types who is saying only thing that’s preventing him from being a militia fighting Russians is the money.

What’s the gear that one would need to be combat ready for Ukraine?

Kevlar, rifle, pistol, boots, night vision goggles? What else

Those guys die everyday. He doesn’t have to buy anything, just show up and he’ll get at the gear needed.

With no training, and little gear, dude would be dead in his first encounter.

Idk what training/gear the foreign legion gets out there, but he also sounds like the "I'd join the military but if I Drill Sergeant got in my face id pinch him." Type.

Why would he fight Russians? He should fight for the Russians. Ukraine isnt giving up any of our tax money for him to fight for their side.

I'm sure if he just shows up over there they'll give him everything he needs to get shot to shite by the Russians.

Dont let me talk him out of it though. I'm sure Ukraine is using people like that for something other than cannon fodder

Endurance, fitness. I joined the army at 18. No way could I do what I was doing past 30. Unless your friend is in his mid 20s and in athlete shape he's mistaken.

Tell him that standard issue equipment is not a game controller, hot pockets, Mountain Dew, and Cheetos.

His interest will fade.

Take those amounts and times them by 10.

You are not going to be allowed to travel with that so you would need to procure those items in country at blackmarket prices.

Tell your idiot friend to start a go fund me. Idiots will 100% donate to it.

Also tell him to quit being a pussy and just fight with a knife, like a real man.
