50.00 and I was feeling bad about that until I read what some of you spent. Now I'm thankful. Only had about 20 kids so plenty of chocolate for us.

About $30 for 2 huge quality bags from Costco. First year we did not run out.

I cooked a chili to feed 30 people, along with all the fixings, hot dogs, buns, soft drinks, water, beer, wine, candy and decorations, etc.

Easy $1k

Zero. We moved out of neighborhood life a while back. Now live on 5 acres and house is way back from the road.

Your invite is always open

We must have had 900+ people come up and down our street.

It was awesome to see the crowds of families all dressed up and in the spirit.

We had a blast.

I honestly have no idea. My wife buys the big mixed bags of M&Ms, Twix, Snickers, etc.

We hand them out until we run out. I think the first trick-or treater showed up shortly after five. Each kid gets two pieces of candy. We handed out candy until we ran out around 8:00. I’m not sure but I’m thinking somewhere around 8-10 bags.

(Disclaimer: towards the end I started handing out 3-4 at a time because I wanted to get inside to make a drink and watch MNF.)

Catered what? I don’t need some fat arse from Livingston Parish to caterer my Halloween Party. I’ve been doing this for 15+ years

My sister lives in a neighborhood with tons of kids and lots of the families come over as well. She usually has about 6 families that come to her house and we all bring hundreds of dollars in candy. It is way out in the country so no real outsiders. It is a blast.

We usually do chili and hot dogs also and drinks too.

This year I only had pics :(

Eta: you seem angry
