"eat your vegetables, and go to church on sunday, you'll be okay. how much did jesus pay for health insurance? i got insurance on my chevy though, jesus didnt have one of em "
That's great except when you pass out or get hurt and some nice person calls 911 we get to pay for your ambulance and hospital bills. Unless Jesus is paying those . Because contrary to what a lot of people think in this country, someone is paying for all the free sh**.
By the way my insurance has doubled to $650 a month for health and dental. You're welcome.

How did you pull that off? Great benefits package at work, or did you just tell Big Insurance to get bent?

Great benefits package at work. Really good coverage at zero cost to me. Pretty lucky.

Well that was bitchy. Sore subject I guess. If by slower typing you mean provided clarifying information, than yes, you did. Thanks.
I hope you cleaned that sand out of your vag this morning.

Mine is free for whole family with no deductible. I occasionally think about leaving my job and moving though so I am curious about what people's deductibles are too. Insurance for a family of four is a serious benefit.....

Yeah, you definitely need to consider that. Based on what I've read, you're looking at an average of like $12,000 a year you get to keep in your pocket if your family health plan is completely free. That's good stuff.

A little more than $700 I believe ... family of 5, $5600 ded for the family, HSA, BCBS/LA ... it works well for us. Haven't found anything less expensive with a reputable name. AND we're grandfathered in so we're not under "obamacare" for now anyway.

Family of 3. 1,400/month. 6k deductible Then everything is covered. I'm on pace to hit my deductible mid December....wish I could have a catastrophic care plan.
