Using the mysterious Google machine this place charges $185 for 8 sessions. Seems reasonable.

Growing up I think that my parents paid $50 a lesson for individual cello lessons. This was 20 years ago. You might want to look around for bulletin boards at places like Guitar Center or somewhere online, but if you are looking for a ball park I would guess that somewhere in the range of $50-$100 or more a lesson is probably what you should be prepared to pay.

Eta: maybe you can find a music student at LSU or Southern that wants to make a little cash on the side. That might be a place to look.

St. Francisville. Lady only takes a dozen kids or so. Maybe we're getting a good deal. I thought it was high. It's our second year of lessons for my daughter (9).

13 years ago when I was teaching piano in Baton Rouge, I charged $60/month. Lessons lasted from 45 min to 1 hr. Not sure how any piano teacher can make a difference in 30 minutes.

I charge $60 per lesson, which includes me travelling to the student's house.

You're poor af.

If you have a good ear, you won't need lessons.

We pay $80 a month for group lessons in Thibodaux. My son took honorable mention at state last year so nothing wrong with a group lesson IMO

20$ per lesson for 30 min. We take him ( my 9y old) 4x per month and make him practice at least three other times per week

I was paying about $30/week for 1-hour session per week (Mandeville). That was at a music school so not sure if cheaper or not to have a private at your home or the teacher's home.

Google the Piano Guy, Scott Houston.

Also, YouTube. You don't need to pay for lessons anymore.
