I am wondering if my wife (who works at a hospital) insurance is better (free) than mine given all the options etc.

Free is probably better unless it is just some sort of catastrophic policy.

My employer insurance is pretty good in terms of benefits but it is so fricking expensive.

Family of 4:

$917/month ($11,004/yr)
$750 individual deductible / $2,250 family deductible

Benefits outside of the costs are really good thank God.

When I moved from a larger employer to a smaller employer I was shocked at the increase in benefit costs. The pay increase was well worth it, but it certainly cuts into it some.

$60 a month; $100 annual deductible; 80/20 split; no additional cost annual physical covered at 100% with blood work included. I'm part of a closed HMO with no coverage outside my plan except for emergencies.

Single, no kids.

$2k individual/ $4k family/ $7150 out of pocket max. I pay $297 per month for a family and it's a HDHP. I put in $150 per paycheck into an HSA. I've had the hsa for about 5 years and have about $11k in it.

You need to report to a hospital and request a rape kit. Whoever sold you that needs to be found and prosecuted.

$280/month for me and a kid.

I think my deductible is $6000.

The kids deductuble is $16000.

Small family owned company, basic bcbs Obama plans.

Sucks. No weird medical issues or anything.

I'm tempted to just drop it and be a leech.
