And at what deductible?

Lets me honest, most of us sign our offer letters and do not know how insurance works. I am wondering if my wife (who works at a hospital) insurance is better (free) than mine given all the options etc.

About 160 a paycheck, covers me and kids.

Its not that great of a plan, total out of pocket is 3500. They do give 800 a year into my hsa account

$125/month, either $1500 or $2K deduct and $4K max out of pocket max for my wife, daughter and myself. All on the wife's employer's plan. They pay hers 100% and something like 75% of the family's portion. It's really freaking great. Her company has to compete with the big boys for engineers and whatnot so their benefits package is top notch.
ETA: If the wife and I get physicals every year we get $1K each into the HSA account as well.
