Due to the limited concession stand personnel that will be available this weekend LSU's Athletic Director (Joe Alleva) has announced that each person that enters the stadium is allowed to bring in one bottle of water. The temperature at kickoff is estimated to be around 88 degrees.

So how many LSU fans do you think heard "Each person is allowed to bring one bottle of vodka into the game."

I was surprised they didn't specify what size bottle could be brought in. 1/2 liter? Liter? Gallon jug? Kentwood Camel?

Is a standard 1/2 liter bottle really going to make much of a difference in hydration level for a person sitting in the sun for 3-1/2 hours? (Assuming it's actually filled with water, and not vodka or EverClear.)

We were discussing that earlier. If the school allows one bottle per person... I would imagine it would be way too time consuming to check every single bottle for unsealed caps....

I have a feeling every Tiger fan will "randomly" be a clear liquor fan this Saturday.

I drank 3 liter bottles of water at the auburn game before they ran out of the liter size bottles. I would have had another if they didn't run out. Are they suggesting they're going to run out of water early? If that's the case, everyone is going to need 2 or 3 bottles

They don't think they will have near enough concession items due to the short notice.... water included.

bullshite. Go to damn near any new construction or barge facility. They have pallets of bottled water. I'm sure some strings can be pulled in 3 days to get some water to campus. It's not "tiger water" but people need to be hydrated or things could get ugly...and I'm not talking about the game.

If they don't have enough water, half of the fans could leave at halftime.
