Zero. Only child and so is my wife. Kind of odd being that we are 43 and 40. Our sons (2) have no aunts, uncles or cousins.

Thanks. It has been such a shock and it hit us hard. She was like my baby. I was a teenager and I remember taking her on dates with me so our dad and her mom could go out. She would pester me and my friend and have us laughing with her comments and questions. I would carry her around and be so proud of her. I grew up and moved from Daddy's when she was about 4.

Then we really connected when again Facebook came along. We could share funny pics, add our funny commentaries and laugh at silly things that were private jokes from our childhood (like the Imaginary closet monster I told her lived in my closet and other whoppers. We laughed so much together.

Losing her was such a tragedy but it has made my siblings decide to become closer which is something i had been trying to do for years, especially with the younger siblings. They were born after I grew up and moved away so I never got to share a childhood with them like I did with the others.

But we all agree now that we should be closer. We all know it is what our sister who died would want. So that will be our silver lining in all of this.

Sounds like my parents. I don't have any first cousins or aunts or uncles.

I'm the oldest of 9 kids. Four younger brothers (1 was adopted) and 4 younger sisters (1 was adopted).

I'm 27. Youngest is 9. The two oldest of us have finished college (both my brother and I are Aggies--classes of 2010 and 2014, respectively), two of my sisters are still in college (one's at Sam Houston State, the other is at Baylor), and the next oldest kid graduated high school this past weekend and he'll be starting at UTSA in the fall. The other 4 are still at home.

We're all pretty close, and I'm thankful for that.

I was the last of 18 children my dad fathered. Three wives, first two died (wore them out? LOL). Eight kids from my mother. Father born in 1894, (61 when I was born), grandfather born 1856.
