I'm hourly on a budgeted project so you better believe they ain't letting me get in much more than 40. The most I ever got I think was 4-5 hours of overtime and I had to fricking write a report justifying what I was doing while I was working overtime. But that does not mean I'm only working 8 hours a day. There are some weeks were I've worked 10+ hours a day.

When I was in high school and worked in a movie theater, I worked 60+ hours a week. That sucked

as a high school football coach I work 75-80 hours during the season...and when you divide my pay by those hours, I make less than minimum wage.....FML.

outside of football season I work 12 hour days and make a little over minimum wage.

Then, in the summer I work 6 hours a day M-Th....at that point, I'm doing pretty good.

1 week for Thanksgiving
2 weeks for Xmas
1 week for Mardi Gras
and 1 week for Easter

Right now, about 50-55 which isn't bad. Throw in 2.5 to 3 hours of commuting a day. Bleh

Short Week: 30-35
Normal Week: 40-45
Long Week: 60-70 or more

ETA: we are small, only 3 employees outside of myself, and they all report to me

I generally don't believe it when people say they work 100 a week. Maybe they have a few times. I know one guy who averages 12 hours a day. That's 60 hours a week. Then commute so 1-2 hours more not an home. The person leaves at 4:30 in the morning and gets home at 8 every night. Let's assume he gets 6 hours of sleep. That leaves him with 2 hours a day for shower, meals, paying bills, etc.

4 hour work week to a science!

How many hours of pointless calls and meetings? about 26 each week.

0600-1630 4 days a week. Maybe work half that with reporting. I'm the immediate supervisor at my plant for my company, and I report to a plant engineer.
