I'd guess most of them are homeless people or drug overdoses. People that nobody cares about or spent time looking for.
Decaying bodies smell too bad for them to go unnoticed inside a city with any regularity. It is an obvious, very pungent smell. The outskirts of NO have a plethora rotting away all of the time. Why drop someone in the street when you can drive 10 minutes away and dump them in the marsh?
Pretty sure I saw NOPD picking up a dead body at the Michoud exit on Saturday. One cop when I went north, and three + a coroner van when I came back two hours later

Andy Reid usually gets around to eating them eventually. Though he hasn't had much of an appetite since the Pittsburgh game.

Someone from my high school was found under a bridge out in Colorado while they were searching for someone else. He was so badly decomposed they needed to identify him by his teeth.
Good guy with a good job. It's suspected that he began to OD and his "friends" panicked and dumped him.

You guys ever seen the movie Snatch? There's one fellow in the KC area that is suspected of at least a couple murders but they can't get him because they lack the evidence. He keeps feeding the bodies to pigs.

Well, they're cops, so...DUH! Of course they're gonna see dead bodies on some nights.

Probably not. In a city it seems like someone is getting shot everyday. Although parkville is a nice area. Trump is too distracting for people to get in much of an uproar about anything else.

i was referring to prairieville in the AP. They found human remains in the wood just off of Germany and Airline.
