How does a voter get a ride to the polls? Thumb in air? Hang out on the street?

You hear stories about "vote hauling" but how does it work? What is the proper strategy?

Candidates (well, the bag man) pay a local pastor to load up the church bus to drive around, pick up folks and carry them to the polls

Stand on the corner, get paid $10 and told to vote Democrat and get a free ride. Both from the bus and the tax payers.

The pastors usually include BBQ chicken lunch after the polling place is done. Well, if Pastor has the stroke to get some "expense" funds.

You call someone. Not sure who since I can drive to the polling place myself but there are poors who don't have a car and old people who don't drive anymore.
Vote hauling is legal if the driver is a volunteer, and it's a campaign finance violation if the driver gets paid.

I know we all like to make fun of florida, and for good reason, but I'm not even joking here I'm being completely serious.
How could the people of FL hear that woman speak just for a minute or 2 and actually elect to vote her into office? I get that she'll get the black vote, that's a given. But surely nobody else with a rational thought in their head would vote for her...what gives? How has she stayed so long?

The woman is the racist woman out there. She has been caught several times doing illegal shite benefitting from her political office but has gotten off using the race card everytime. Her political district is like 95% black and has some of the highest unemployment and murder rates in the state but yet she has won that district like 20 years in a row. She blames everyone else and as long as the welfare keeps coming these same people will continue to vote for her and remain hostages in their own neighborhoods.
