Scotsman had been making a built in or stand alone residential pellet ice machine for a while now.

No shite. Just realize it's a commercial unit. Not as quiet, but will last a century in a home setting. Same size as an under counter unit too.

They have them every so often at the sports and outdoors shows.

Everyone likes crushed ice but the truth is that cubed ice keeps longer thus creating a colder cocktail.
