Iraq, 2004. Apparently we had near misses at crossing paths for years, but ran into each other on the other side of the world. Referred someone to her who had some "stress" issues going on, went with him to meet her, and it was on.

Met her through a mutual friend, she looked angry at the world. I thought she was cute and eventually got her laughing and dancing and having fun. And now a few years later we are married.

Wife one, met through her husband....not a good way to go. Wife two, met her through friends of friends - 1st date was a day parade on st Charles, dinner, and coercing her to see the sunrise in gulf shores the next morning....much mo better.

From a place we mutually worked at. She came in to fill out an app. I asked my boss to hire her. He looked at the app. Says well that's my cousin. I told him right there I'm going to end up marrying your cousin.
