How 'bout that 'mid-city' gentrification now?

Still looking for a late night trolley ride and rob?

How about a stroll down the newly congested Government Street for a meet and greet with your newest and angriest neighbors?

A gondola to wisk your traffic nightmares away and bring you to new levels of fear?

Re-do that quaint 1920s bungalow in the bugaloo so you can get burglarized?

Ahhhh....... It's all so lovely! Where is the pro-gentrification crowd when other crowds appear?

I thought it was more of a pro-carpet-bomb census around here.

I live in mid city because it's what I can afford, much like most of everyone that lives here does.

Not for some bullshite agenda.

Look man, I know you're trying to make light of the situation, maybe trying to be a bit of a funny guy. You aren't though, you're just coming off as an a-hole.

Why'd you edit your post?
Getting nervous?

All I am saying is that this forum was populated with talk of a trolley, a gondola, gentrification, and how great all that was.

I am not a fan of it, and this is why.

Now .... Nothing from them.

But you stepped in and got heiny hurt for some reason. Perhaps you should consider (1) more sleep; (2) less booze or (3) lightening up?

Eta: I edited my post because you seem like a sensitive skin person who is very nervous, and I don't want to scare you anymore than you are. I want not to have a silly conversation over this, that's why.

No. It wasn't.

What do you want people that live in the Govt St corridor to say?

FWIW, the Square 46 development is breaking ground next week. And all is quiet in Mid City/Garden District tonight.

Like I said, it's a great night for a stroll. I have heard some of your neighbor's may be out. Perhaps you could bake them some cookies and wassel and bring them some as a gesture?

Square 46 sounds lovely. Hope they can meet the neighbor's too. Everybody will get along just right.

Maybe one day, you all can ride that big gondola to downtown and hear Al Sharpton preach his version of Justice. I'd suggest Ubering home separately however.

Well, I'll ignore that. You can take the $230 million desperately needed trolley. Good luck with that one.

All of this was funnier in your head. Keep it there next time.

Look, I just call it like I see it.

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.
