I'm going to get a second opinion on my knee. I'm working in Huntsville and want to get this thing checked out before I get back home. Some of the best doctors in the world practice in Houston, so I want to find one to fix my knee.

Thanks for your input.

Scope or replacement?

Scope Eric Sabonghy.

Ruptured patella tendon back in 09. Knee was operated on then but has been acting up and really limits what I can do physically. I'm 35 and have a little boy that turned one last week. I want to be able to teach him how to play ball and all that when the time comes.

I had this x-ray taken a couple of weeks ago

Texas Orthopedics Group

Great orthopedics group who have specialists for all different types of injuries. Do some homework on each doctor and try and make an appointment with one you feel comfortable with.

I was there for high school ankle issues from sports and even though I was seeing one primary Dr., others from the group came in to review and help.

I used G. William Woods with Fondren Orthopedic Group. I had surgery in November of 2007, no issues since, very satisfied.

I second texas orthopedic. I saw a doctor there for my shoulder. Unfortunately I don't remember his name but he was an lsu guy. I believe he was a trainer/med guy for the football team.

I went to Baylor School of Medicine for my back pain and they were great, I figured it would be a good to have the surgeon teaching the other surgeons working on me.
