Humble (the "H" is silent) has become a shite hole ridden with crime, just like Atascocita which is a 2 minute drive from where this lagoon is. Humble High School gave fame to folks like:

-Jackie Battle, running back for the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tennessee Titans
-Bertrand Berry, defensive end for Arizona Cardinals
-David Boston, Ohio State Buckeye star and former pro-bowler and NFL wide-receiver
-Mark Brandenburg, former Major League Baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers
-Sammy Davis, former cornerback for Texas A&M, 49ers, Chargers, and Buccaneers
-David Givens, two-time Super Bowl winner and former wide-receiver for Patriots and Tennessee Titans
-Kimberly Holland, Playboy "Playmate"
-Guy Jeanes, bearded actor in the Budweiser Horse Commercials
-Jerrod Johnson, former QB for Texas A&M, currently signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League
-David Kersh (Class of 1989), country music singer
-David Meece, Internationally renowned Christian recording artist, songwriter and Christian messenger.
-A.J. Morris, Major League pitcher, currently with the Cincinnati Reds
-Joel Osteen, author and pastor
-Franka Potente, actress, starred in Run Lola Run and The Bourne Identity.

Pretty much all neighborhoods in Houston that are middle to slightly upper middle class are very ethnically diverse. That's just normal Houston.

We moved to Bridgeland two years ago and absolutely love it here. It’s very diverse but I doubt people on the left would consider it that way since it’s still like 55% white. The make up is like 55% white, 20% Hispanic, 15% Asian, and 10% AA.

You know what we have very little % of? Low income trash.

I love the 2 guys fighting in that video. I bet in their minds they are both thinking they are as good as Floyd Mayweather, but in reality, they look more like 2 girls having a cat fight.

What I gather from people at work that live there is that the developer still controls the HOA (POA?) board and opened up the events to generate money, under the guise of marketing the neighborhood.

The end of the video said it was done in part to attract new homebuyers lol. This is the result when people lack critical thinking skills.

If an article describes culprits as “group of teens” I know exactly what’s coming in the video.

There is no walking back restrictions now, to do so will have the same reporter doing a story about the rayciss exclusionary neighborhood.

Houston loves to blame LA for its own thugs behavior. Some of them really believe there were zero thugs prior to Katrina.

HOA fee is $1600 a year there. Non-residents can pay $20 to get into the lagoon area.

I'd be pissed too. What's the point of paying high HOA dues for private amenities if they're going to open it up to the public for a small fee who don't care about trashing up the place because they don't live there.
$1,600 per year HOA is a nuisance value amount.

$4.37 per day ($133.00 per month) probably will not get you a Starbucks.

$16,000 per year is a "high" HOA annual amount.

If someone is paying $1,600 per year, they can't expect great things out of their HOA.
