Heading there in June. Going to baseball game. Need hotel for a couple nights. Not too familiar with city. Try to keep it under 250. Suggestions. Thanks.

Not sure what the prices are these days, but The Cow Hollow Motor Inn is in a good area and is a good value.

Hotel Rex was nice. Right at 250 for a queen bed, including parking which was an ungodly $50 a day...

Think we stayed at the Fairmont for 250-300 a night. It was alright. Easy enough to walk most places, although SF can be a bitch for obvious reasons.

The W Hotel is not that far from the ballpark. It is also next door to the Gold Club. I have stayed at the W, St. Regis, & the Sir Francis Drake in the Union Square area & all are great. You are going to pay out a lot. It is hard to find anything reasonable in San Fran. A game at AT&T Park is one of the best baseball experiences you will ever have. It is the real deal. Good luck.

Sir Francis Drake in Union Square is amazing but it's closer to $400-500. The location is great.

The Hotel California is a Best Western by Union Square. Great location by the cable cars and Union Square, reasonable price when I stayed there a couple years ago, you get a shot of tequila when you check in, free wine and cheese every afternoon, and a nice staff.

Don't expect much for under $250 a night in San Francisco though.

Would highly recommend an Irish coffee from the Buena Vista restaurant on Beach Street by Fisherman's Wharf.
