This type of tragedy happened in my Zachary neighborhood back around 2002ish. An older sibling was backing out and didnt realize his much younger sibling had slipped out to the driveway, backed over the child. Unfathomable, the grief and agony.

**Wow, hit and run...if true, wont be running long Im sure.

The people who fly through my neighborhood (speed limit 15) are almost always teenagers.

not hit and run and from initial reports speed does not appear to be a factor

Thank God for backup cameras now. It's virtually impossible to see something behind the car, low to the ground without one. Such a sad story.

Absolutely...no telling how much life, limb and property has been saved with back up cameras.

That is horrible. The older sibling has to live with that. The parents lost one child because of their other child's actions (which was not on purpose). I couldn't even imagine.

5 yo darted out of driveway on bike, ran over by Tahoe, in pretty bad shape but alive. Apparently CPR was administered on scene by neighbors and most probably saved his life

Terrible situation
