BBB

They're on the BBB... You can start there and read the complaints.

Great company. If every car dealership was like them, well you know the rest

They're thieves like almost all car dealers but Richards Honda is the absolute pits.

Explain how dealers are thieves.

I'm not doubting or refuting, just want to hear why you feel that way.

They've all got their repertoire of dirty tricks but the most common and the most dangerous is when they want to closet you with the "finance" man who will do his very best to get you to sign something that doesn't even resemble the deal that you and the salesman agreed upon. Just be prepared do stand up and walk out the door at any time. That always gets their attention.

You think they don't know what you're doing? They know just like you know what they're doing.

In all seriousness I recently bought a used car from Royal Nisson and was shocked they didn't try to change anything. It was a pleasant first

Just bought a new F150 from them. Very easy deal and would buy from them again.

I bought a new Escape titanium package vehicle from them in May and dealt with James Davis who was upfront with me on price.
I shopped around and the price was fair plus no fees.
They gave me the best trade in for my F150.
Now financing upfront they gave me the same rate as Neighbors Credit Union gave me by going directly to the credit union.

Get your financing done directly with the bank or credit union.

Now I bought a new 2014 Chevy Truck and bought it Houston because they had the best deal and no fees. The GM Dealers in Louisiana all try to hit you with etching fees, Supreme Chevy would not sell a truck without charging you a $499 etching fee, or Hanks GMC $499 coupon book. In Houston they charged me for the truck was $1,000 cheaper than Supreme Chevy plus $195 to handle plates, notary, etc which was best deal I found.

Richards Honda

Although the place is kinda shitty, I found their business practices just fine. Gave me by far the best price without even haggling, even for a car not on their lot. Team Honda couldn't come close (or any other dealer in area).

When signing with finance, I had no issues at all. Even floated me for a couple days until my insurance check cleared for the down payment.

Thats why I get my finance with my credit union beforehand.
