HOA prez sent me Facebook Friend Request, what do I do?

We already communicate appropriately via the HOA Facebook page.
We already have each other's cell numbers for urgent communications (we have boats on the lake, people steal them, we communicate on that level).
Do I just decline it? Let it sit in limbo?
What's my move here?
