your getting exactly what you deserve for living in a place like that. I will never understand why someone would buy a home in place where your neighbors tell you what you can and can't do on your property or your home. damn fools.

Hide your garbage can by parking your boat in front of it.

I know the HOA rules can eventually change-- but I think it makes sense if you agree with the rules.

It's all about protecting property value. Some of the rules are petty and the HOA members can be dicks, but I'm glad that no one in my subdivision has a trailer parked in their yard or lets their lawn turn into a jungle.

Ye I have 2 kids under 2 so it smells no matter what I do. Diaper genie can only do so much.

Maybe because living 45 minutes outside of city limits driving to work isn't as practical. I'm about to be dealing with the same HOA bs issues and I can't wait to raise hell.
I plan on just simply placing it on the side of my house behind the gate. Not sure if that's an option for you.

Go get a $3 blue tarp and cover the can. It will look worse but the garbage can will not be seen from the road and you will be compliant.

Your suggestion looks better than mine but the OP said putting anything on the side is not an option for him. His home is built on a hill.
