I had $90 with 2X multiplier a year or so ago. Downtown to Lake at White Oak at 2am. I was also a drunk idiot for putting myself in that situation.

Mine was $118 last week but I had to get back and forth between 2 cross fit gyms twice to complete the WOD.

I just had the guy wait in the car.

As a former Uber driver, I once made $300 off of someone.

He lived in the U Club though.

I bet you she was trying to go across the river to some shitty bar and changed her end destination back to home when she got there

I think the article said it was after the game and the contra flow made her have to go out of the way

Holy shite I just realized her end destination was tigerland, not the other way around...i hope people can look at that and realize that trip took place during contraflow

why are people making a fuss about the route?

1) contraflow
2) she agreed to that price long before that dude picked her up

Surge pricing almost to 10x last night. I'm sure some drunk people paid for some $300 rides last night

How did you see what the surge was? My app updated and it no longer shows surges

Contraflow takes you over the river? That's odd. That said, you can just go onto the Uber website and dispute a route your driver took, and it will refund you right there on the spot the difference between the best route and the route that was taken. I think it just uses Google maps to determine the best route. So technically, I bet you could get a ride during contraflow and then go online and dispute the route and get money back.
