Luckily, not a "Jeremy" situation. Still seems very strange to pull this AT SCHOOL.

He wanted attention. Seems pretty obvious to me. He wounded himself non lethally in his workplace and then tried to find someone. I can't answer why he wanted the attention, but that's what he wanted.

Not a lot of detail in that article. Did he shoot himself in the head or accidentally discharge his gun and shoot himself in the foot? They make it appear as if it was an attempted suicide so it would seem pretty reckless by the media if it turns out to be the latter.
