High school reunion shenanigans

I'm going to my 20th reunion this weekend and was wondering if anyone has any good stories from their reunion. I didn't go to my 5th year reunion and my 10th sucked cause everyone was still dealing with Katrina so I don't have any good stories.

I'm already in contact with everyone from my high school that I want to be in contact with. We all skipped our 10th reunion this year. It looked pretty atrocious from the pics that I've seen.

At my 10 year reunion I lied to most people about what I did for a living. A few good friends were in on it so they backed up the lies with more lies.
I told people I was a lobbiest, I worked for NASA, I was a cowboy, I was a sports agient, different groups of people got different stories.
The lobbiest lie got me laid.

When my 10 year reunion came around.. In 2007.. They planned out a whole weekend. Friday night there was the actual reunion, Saturday it was something else, I forgot and then Sunday was family day. It was the weekend of a LSU home game. That Friday at the actual reunion I stopped by for about 10mins on the way to a friend's house. Next year will be 20 years, I have no desire to attend.

We had 5th year reunion 2 years ago. One dude was telling me how he steals copper out of abandoned houses to fuel his heroin addiction now.

At my wife's 20th some dude wigged out bc he thought it should have been nicer. Yelled at my wife, who was treasurer or some bs, and I almost killed him.

Never made any of my high school reunions. Somewhat regret it now. Next one won't be until 2020, which will be my 25th. May try to finally make it if it actually happens.

My wife's was more entertaining. I was more drunk because I knew NOBODY from her class. One poor dude unburdened his soul in this girls ear. She was married but her husband did not go that night and the guy was single. He was talking to me some and knew my wife in passing really, but I could tell the way he kept looking at this girl and pulling from his beer. He walked up and just started talking in her ear. I heard nothing, but her face?
It went from "what's up" to amusement to oh my god to a shocked and rattled look. I am all but positive had told her he loved her or something close. Poor fella.

Apparently so, lol. I didn't go because I figured nothing really changed since graduation. I was still in school and partying, same as 5 years before.

Love reunions. Just another excuse to get together and party. We all are friends and stayed local including my wife and her grad class.

I went to five and 10. Skipped 15 and 20. I talk to nobody from high school. Deleted half of those dumbasses from my Facebook.
