Mandeville High class of 04 checking in. Man, I just wish this bust would have happened before the ten year reunion instead of after it. That would have made for some interesting conversations with some of these people I haven't seen in awhile.

Is the Rehage kid related to former LSU player/concert promoter Steve Rehage?

I graduated from FHS in 05 and had several classes with Korte. He's definitely not the brightest crayon in the box. Still shocking that he would get involved in something like this. His Dad gave him pretty much everything he needed.

The last sentence of your post may be the problem !

Korte is still at large, they say. According to his FB he is living in Utah and was hiking a mere 14 hours ago

I'd be hiking my arse south to Mexico right now.

No it's not. Damien James that played for LSU is about 8 years older than this kid.

A few years back she was banging a dude and got a boob job and convertible Mercedes from him. She no longer has that car or anything to show for it.

I imagine she's feeling pretty sick about now. Bet she could sure use a shot.

Tough luck kid, kicking in a county cell

Thankfully they'll be locked up in jail instead of ruining their lives.

The fact of crimes being solved and drug rings busted up is not a good sign? I don't think anyone said things don't happen, just that it's relatively minimal.

Either way, this is very surprising. There are a lot of guys from well-connected families in that lineup. St. Tammany is not known for being kind to drug offenses, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The judicial system is much kinder to non-violent offenders w/ competent and politically connected legal representation.

Sadly, more and more good people from good families have been getting hooked on heroin.

Dude was pretty bad off man. Had three kids, a big house, new truck, motorcycle. He'd just take a bunch at a time, them a short time later take more. He'd take like 5 30s if we were just drinking at his house. Then, an hour later, he would take one or two more. More drunk he got, the faster he'd take them. Then he would try and get all of us to give him ours (never did).

He'd do all of his pills for the month, and try to find more. Was hard because his wife took all of his ways to get money. After that month's supply was out, he'd basically go into a deep depression until he got more
