Lot of applicants.. I don't see how a former college cop could seriously be the chief of the BRPD

Mark Kraus from LCPD would make an excellent BRPD Chief! No nonsense, tough-nosed, articulate, intelligent guy with many years of experience being second in command in LC.

I went to high school with Jeremy Kent. Really good guy. His grandparents own The Kitchen restaurant in Monroe. I'd think he's a little young for police chief though at 38-39.

He wasn't retired when he was hired. He was still in a command position with LSP

LSP didn't push him too far. I saw him back on the job with them this summer after Reeves was sworn in.

Not sure what capacity he works in now.
