Have you asked her about the circumstances?

Get ready for a power struggle. It's tough to be the next guy up after that. If you have the stones to work thru her mess, big ups to you.

It won't be easy, i assure you.

I have a friend who is a girl who told me how she has been date raped a few months ago. She told me today how she has ptsd and and was raped in college. How should I go about helping her out.

Get her professional help.

Don't.

While I personally know a couple of girls that similar incidents happen to them that turned out completely fine, it can cause major problems down the road for you as the guy.

Any time I hear the term date rape I am a little suspicious. There is a spectrum on that which is not the same as getting knocked out in an alley and raped forcibly. Crazy girls love rape stories. That's just God's honest truth.

Show caution.

Have you seen Dexter? He handled the same situation fantastically. Role model.

Don't think she is lying. Only her and her dad know about the date rape and she never told her parents about the other rape.

Guess its a good idea to stay in the friends zone on this one

Depends on if it was "rape". She may just want you to be her emotional tampon. Take her to the professionals and let them help

Some of you have no common sense. Just be there for her and listen. She obviously is comfortable with you if she brought it up so just listen and be a good friend.

She needs to talk to a medical professional. My gf was a victim of sexual violence with a previous partner. He was a POS and to this day has a RO against his arse.

You can only do so much without medical or professional knowledge.

Be very careful, caring, and willing to take it slowly and considerately.
