Headlights in recent years - is it just me or everyone?

I'm open to the possiblity that it's just my eyes growing older, but I wonder if it's the headlights used in modern cars lately. At night, I feel headlights from oncoming traffic on divided streets are more blinding. There seems to be more "lines" stemming from them.

Most of the time it's the wrong bulb type in the wrong housing. Putting LEDs in housings not made for them scatters light.

A huge problem is that people run with daytime running lights instead of headlights.
It turns dark and people can see their dash because it is a backlit LED so they never turn on their headlights. Instead you get high intensity fogs that are pointed up instead of normal headlights. Not to mention no rear lights.

Bigger problem is the growing number of assholes who run their high beams.

Those LED light bars on front of trucks are completely blinding. Like looking at the sun.

It's not just you. If it was you, it would be the case for every car on the road but it seems to be primarily newer trucks, particularly Fords, that I've noticed this with. If I have one behind me I'll purposely slow to a crawl to get them to pass me because I can't even see in front of me with those obnoxious lights reflecting off my mirrors.

You can get them in your thirties and forties especially if you spend a lot of time in the sun.

Not just you! Theres an a-hole around the Denham end of Florida St. in Baton Rouge that has an entire grill of LED lights on his truck. Sometimes when he's blinding me at 6 in the morning (he's out there every fricking morning!) I contemplate shooting him and just doing the damn time!

My wife's car came from the factory with blinding lights. I think manufacturers have been increasing the lumen lately.

I think car manufacturers are in currenlty in competition to see who can blind oncoming drivers best.

My favorite thing to do is actually flash mine at the people who think my standard lights are actually on high by flashing theirs at me.
