Too bad this didn't happen in Texas. Apparently, Texas law states that his accomplice would be charged with murder in addition to armed robbery.

I'm pretty sure this is not true. I had heard the same thing about Louisiana laws and if I remember correctly I looked it up and it's not the case. I think this was just something that got passed around. Texas may be different though.

I am not surprise the the family's reaction at all.

Lowest common denominator thinking at its best.

Stop making excuses and start making changes.

Same in Florida.

Perry Stevens shot and killed a man who was beating a police officer to death. The deceased's baby momma filed a civil suit. This stuff is all too common and a true indication of the state of our society.

This story is a case study so to speak in the cc class I took. The instructor recommends once you're clear to cc putting an attorney on retainer.

Also, trying to avoid risky situations as much as possible.

Ernie something or another. He owns some kind of water survey company on Siegan lane.

It was a great class and very informative. He hammered through it in one day. Told people to hold questions until each section of the class was complete. He also advocated practice, practice, practice. We took our shooting portion at precision.

Sucks that in the event you actually have to use your cc to defend your life in our society, you may be essentially financially ruining yourself as well.
