We started last night I love Christmas time and Thanksgiving! My favorite time of the year! And even more so this year because my wife and I are expecting our son December 30

Then give Thanksgiving it's proper due. Christmas lights go up the day after Thanksgiving. Not any time sooner.

Yes. She insists we start this weekend (her birthday weekend) every year. I try to keep some of it for later. She decorates the fake tree now but the live tree after Thanksgiving.

Light people are coming next weekend, but I don't really have much control over that.

If you're putting up Christmas lights right now, you are what's wrong with America.

Wife & I pulled all the stuff out of the attic last night but it will sit in the spare bedroom until after Thanksgiving.

Congrats on the kid. But it is too early for lights for me. The Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving.

That is a great gif

Also it's too early for Christmas decorations. Gotta wait until after Thanksgiving.

I'm Pentecostal so the Celebration of Christ's Birth is at the end of summer, not the beginning of winter.

As a Pentecostal I do not believe in pagan Christmas lights.
