Been in some sort of a life slump here lately, and seriously considering just up and moving to another state, east coast probably, just to "start over", for lack of a better term.

I have nothing holding me back; no wife (or ex wife), or kids. Not running from anything, and I'm not necessarily unhappy with my life, but not necessarily thrilled with it lately either. And a sudden change in location sounds like a perfect way to get my self out of this slump.

Has anyone else felt like this, or actually gone through with it?

Keep your shitty life where it is now, no need to further infect it into otherwise happy peoples lives.

Pornstar was not included on the skills needed list. Must be a mistake.

Yes I have, but with aging parents and in laws and kids who are really involved it makes it hard.

I have. I left Nola a couple years ago for Colorado. I always wanted to check thing out West, and overall it's been a good experience. I miss my friends and family. I miss a lot about Nola. But overall, it's been a good move.

But I do get homesick for the gulf coast, but not during this time of year. I hate summer by the gulf.

I have. A pretty good amount. I didn't know legit lsd still existed. It does, and it's pretty phenomenal. Just don't make any life altering decisions for a few days afterwards.

What is going to change in your life by heading to a new locale? How will it prevent you from eventually feeling the same as you do now?

saw a political cartoon the other day, guy says he's voting for Trump because more people are saying they'll leave the country if he wins than if Hillaroids wins

Do it man! You only live once, easier done with nothing holding you back. Nothing says you can't back or pick somewhere else.

I've done this several times already and it's been okay so far. After syracuse I ended up down here not knowing anyone and while I like it sometimes, I'm going to pack up and move on after graduating next May. Seems like everyone around here found their future husband/wife by the time they were done high school/college and will be stuck around here til they die. I like it here but not that much
