I had a gay guy ask me to marry him. He said I was the only female he had ever been physically attracted to and we were good friends and got along extremely well.
While I was flattered, a lot of the reason why I was so comfortable being what basically equaled to best friends with him was because he was gay and I felt no pressure or concern that he would eventually want or expect more out of the relationship. While he was a very attractive guy (seems like most gay guys are), I felt zero physical attraction.
Apparently I hurt his feelings horrendously when he said he wanted to get married bc I thought he was joking and began laughing....and it probably isn't even necessary to say that I said, emphatically, no.
The friendship did become rather uncomfortable after that, he moved to another state and we completely lost touch.

Almost, my buddy lived in NO with two women. One was a lesbian, the other was in a relationship.
I stayed with them for a week hanging out.
I made the mistake of just being myself and having fun. And the lesbian girl, who was off work hung out with me during the day. We went all over NO, I treated her like a girl, had lots of fun and she fell for me.
The other girl was cool, super hot, sexy; we all partied together at night. Needless to say, I hooked up with straight, very attractive roommate.
The other girl was pissed, I really fricked up their roommate dynamic going on.
