I talk to my dogs every day. I bitch to them, I ask them what they would do in situations, I call them names like dick heads, arse crust, etc. Just because it comes to mind at the time & I can't do that with people... Just call them random names that comes to mind.

I do. I still talk to my dog that recently passed. Every time I enter the house I tell her I miss her. She always greeted me at the door.

I talk to mine all the time. We taught her to answer yes and no questions and she clearly listens and responds. It’s like having a really hairy five-year-old.

Sure. I say, "hi little guy" and he says "merow".
I use gestures.
Hold up brush. He comes to be brushed.
I am coming down stairs with fish. He walks up stairs and attempts to ingratiate himself while i avoid tripping over him.
He then lies on floor right in front of stove while i fry up some fish in butter. When its about 2/3rds done, he tells me his portion is done enough, rubbing against my leg, purring and merowing.
I put his on plate. 16 Seconds:
Clean plate club.
I use gestures.

My dog talks back in a British accent. She's a big mutt with some St. Bernard in her. Started telling people at the dog park that she's a Manchester mastiff when they ask what kind of dog she is. A few people even told me some interesting info ABOUT Manchester mastiffs.

Our dogs talk to my wife and I. One has the accent of a dot Indian that owns a 7-11 and constantly explains why he tears shite up. The other one talks with a gay lisp and curses like a sailor.

Hell, I still talk to her ashes occasionally but I'm close to be fully rehabbed. After 15 years of being together, it takes a while.

I say good morning to my fish every morning. I also inquire as to their well being. No response to date.
