I started at 31. I'm currently 37. I can tell a tremendous difference in my quality of life.

I tried the gel and shots. I prefer the pellets every 3 months.

These are the pellets that they insert under the skin and it slow releases over those 3 months, right?

Yep. In and out in 10 min at the doctor. It seem to keep my levels at a normal plateau unlike the shots. And plus I sweat a lot and the gel seems to wear off during the spring and summer.

Ingive myself injections. You have to have blood test every so often to check your levels as well as ensure your red blood cell counts are not skyrocketed as it will make your blood "thick" and can cause a stroke. Benefits are great. You also have to have them test for your estrodiol levels. They will increase as well in direct response to the injections. Too high they can cause painful lumps on your breast. If your doctor doesn't want to pay attention to the adverse reaction to the spike in estrodiol then find a new doctor.

If you estrodiol is too high then you can offset the positive effects of the testosterone. I was able to reduce my dosage of cypionate once I added in a DHEA (mine was low) to help regulate the hormone levels and drop the estrogen

If you think you have low T, schedule an appointment with your general doctor and get your testosterone level checked as well as your Free Testoterone levels checked.

After you get results, schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist and discuss options with him/her. For a lot of people the issue can be cause by having too much excess weight and losing weight can naturally bring your numbers back to normal.

I would get my numbers, discuss options with at least two doctors, and if you are indeed overweight, I'd seek that route first before undergoing treatment.

I just read about low vs high, and the symptoms seem to be almost exactly the same. Too low and you behave like a woman. Too high and estrogen happens and makes you behave like a woman

In summation, as long as you're knocking the bottom out of at least one chick, you're good

My doctor had a good question, it's best to identify the reason why you have low T before you fix it.

Guy I work with had his nipples start bleeding after starting T treatments. That's all I needed to hear.
