Like you could afford to eat at a Chilli's. Probably don't even have those where you're from.

Lessened, but the media makes you think there is still a huge divide.

It has worsened. There are probably more formerly sympathetic white people who have grown more indifferent or racist then ever before. Those white people have grown tired of the constant victim hood card thrown in their face every turn. Blacks are losing ground with that important white majority.

Lessened. Media likes to make a big deal out of things and blow them out of proportion but it's lessened.

Broadened in the mainstream press.

Lessened in real life/day to day interactions.

I agree with this.

Media loves to play on people's emotions. It's why these threads get so many bites.

The President and the ladies running the white house's sole interest is keeping racial tension high.

This x 100. Every new immigrant nationality struggled mightily in this country to start. Italians, Irish, Polish, etc. They started out in ghettos, busted their arse, raised families, lived, died, and joined in after just a generation or two.

Where do I even start with this bullshite?

1. Black people were not immigrants you dumb frick we were brought here and treated like animals.

2. The Irish, Polish etc. were in ghettos and making livings, blacks were in the field as slaves being beat, tortured, lynched raped and striped of of their culture.

3. After slavery was abolished things like share cropping and segregation which we are a little more that 50 years removed from was used to disenfranchise blacks.

Too many blacks though want to skip the hard arse work portion of this success formula and just expect to be placed into success as some kind of reparations. And it is getting worse - not better.

You mean like working hard for free? Fighting in wars overseas but when they returned home could not even sit a lunch counter? Funny how this country insisted the Jews be paid reparations but some how the hardships that blacks had to endure did not justify reparations.

White people will forever act as if there is no blood on their hands. They killed off the Native Americans and oppressed the black, but its a matter of personal responsibility as to why blacks are doing bad. Never mind the fact whites have made it their lives a living hell since they stepped foot in America.
