It will never get better as long as people keep feeling sorry for themselves, keep killing each other, have kids with no structured home life, and blaming others

We will inter marry to the point where it won't matter. In my town Italians were not be dated by my Dads generation. My generation saw how fine these girls were and married them. Now it seems so crazy to have been prejudiced . The same is happening with all groups. My 13 yr old daughter wants to marry an Asian . I don't know where she came up with that, but that's cool. We will all love our grandchildren !

I love how people will say that because segregation was ended fifty years ago, that black people should be fully integrated into society with equal academic and financial ratios as white people. But this is bullshite. It's getting better now, but institutionalized racism was a problem for decades after the end of segregation, and we still has a lot if improvement to make.

Unequal schools, unequal sentencing in courts, the war on drugs... You can go on for awhile.

Being in New Orleans for five years was an insane experience. Particularly when I was running a street repair job in St Bernard Parish. It wasn't just that people were racists, it was how they'd casually bring up racist conversations, even though they didn't know shite about me other than I was a white guy and was running things on-site. And this was basically a daily thing from the residents and the contractors.

My favorite story to tell (particularly on this board) is when a coupe of the Big Bros.' Project managers and a subs' superintendent are having a conversation about wishing black people didn't come back after Katrina and it turned to wishing they would leave the area again.

The head Boh project manager said
"I could live without LSU football."

In his mind, he probably only thinks black people are basically only good for football. And this is a high up guy in what might be the largest contractor in New Orleans. So how many black people didn't get a job because of guys like that? And this was in 2012, not the 70s.

It is worse.

A black thief, whom had mugged a store clerk, while caught on tape was shot while trying to attack a police officer had lead to a police chief losing his job, months of rioting. Hatred, violence, attacks on police. No one cares though and in fact the narrative is portrayed as the police did something wrong.

I actually feel sorry for the black race due to Obama being President. He has made it a lot worse. My son has a really good friend that is black and to see how he gets treated in this day in time is surprising. We had better relations in the 80s and 90s than we do now.

Mark me down for worse - and I'm beyond tired of reading about it.

Want some laughs? Go to WWL, WBRZ or WAFB and check out the comments on their facebook pages anytime they bring up racism, shootings, drugs, etc in BR or Nola. It's turns into a white vs black fight over NOTHING. The stupids have an avenue to spew their drivel and it's quite embarrassing for both parties.

Most people want to be segregated.
Look no further than what's happened to most inner cities and the white flight suburbs.

Shipping kids by bus all way across town is stupid and a waste of time.
Trying to diversify people just to meet some greater agenda creates resentment among everyone and adds to the problem.

Low class poor people regardless of race and upper middle class people never will mesh.

The Divider in Chief has done everything he can to bring the races together. I expect everyone around this nation to hold hands and sing, "Kum Ba Yah".
