Yes. Fantastic experience. The exchange rates were very favorable when I traveled there on holiday. I dined like a king. Indulged in many a parilla and drank my volume in malbec. Learned to tango at milongas, explored the sundry neighborhoods, shopped at numerous unique boutiques, rode horses at an estancia on the pampas, ate at several delicious haute cuisine restaurants, stayed out to the wee hours at some dance clubs, drank mate, devoured churros, followed the ghost of Borges into cafes, saw Casa Rosada, escaped herds of feral cats, toured Recolleta Cemetary, visited La Bombanera, and gaped at the ludicrously gorgeous women. The city features the Beaux Arts, monumental architecture of Paris tinged by a soul that is both vain and melancholy. Echoes of the Dirty War still ring in the plazas.

I was going to, but the giant Bugs destroyed it all before Doogie could save us.

Yes. But just stay a day or two. Then do yourself a favor and hop a plane to el calafate and hike the perito merino glacier. Then bus it to torres del Paine's national park in Chile and do the W trek.
Absolutely unforgettable.

Then hit up BA for another day or 2, drink malbec and eat some steaks.

Been twice.

Pro's: Big steaks (people don't eat until about 10PM), beautiful ladies, very heavily European influenced.

Con's: Traffic is the worst I've ever been in, economically depressed (which bodes well with fx), corruption is rampant and definitely a lot of places you want to steer clear of.
