From Hammond Airport Road to well to the East Side of I-12 I-10 Split = 30 minutes when things are moving well. Tack on the time on the Hammond side to Interstate from your home, add the distance and time from the Split and where you will be working you have the total time, on a Good Day

Prepare for a lot of delays by means of 18-wheelers blowing up and catching fire.

You better be driving one of these if you don't want to burn a hole in your wallet on gas money...

I make it from southeastern to lsu, with a vehicle switch in the middle in 45 minutes everyday. That is morning and afternoon.

Money saved on rent by staying with a friend or family can represent a lot of money.

Why would you stop in the middle and switch vehicles?

I'm from Hammond and would not do it, traffic is just too inconsistent. Also I drive a tundra too much gas

If you have 8am classes, be prepared to leave Hammond at 6, and that's no bullshite. The last 20 miles of that commute from Range Road in Denham to LSU can take an hour or more on some days.

somehow I don't believe this is an appropriate avg....

I guess I would need to know what time you leave in the morning because if get to Denham by 7:00 you are stuck in traffic for at least 15-20 minutes

ETA: If I leave my house for 7:30 I don't get to work in Baton Rouge till 8:30 on average most days.
