If they told her she'd hear from them, but hasn't yet, she didn't make the cut. They'll get back to her in the next two weeks to let her know that she didn't make the cut. I went through Halliburton interviews in the spring and had the same issue. I was disappointing too. I have a buddy that's been working there since high school to refer me and the interviewer was from Hahnville, so we had a lot in common. I'm still bummed about not getting that job.

They'll let her know one way or the other.

Can you get me a job in Louisiana? Anything to get me out of this damn motor oil plant.

Unfortunately I'm out of their San Antonio district. Wish I was still in Louisiana..

When I was interviewing, I wanted to do drilling division (which was what I went to school for in the first place, but instead ended up in Construction management), but the only positions they had were in Houston. They had some other positions in Lafayette/Broussard which would be my ideal landing spot. I'm working for a large industrial contractor as a field engineer at a plant in Port Allen right now, but I find the oil field much more interesting.

Circumstances come up with job interviews, people can't make it, bosses are busy, ect..
I was worrying about the same thing a month ago. I just left a voicemail following up about 4-5 days after they didn't call. Ended up calling me and saying I was hired a couple days later

If you know anything about BR traffic engineers, they don't actually do anything at all

There are 2 campuses right now. North Beltway 8 near IAH and Oak Park on Bellaire and Beltway 8.
A few other offices scattered around Houston, mostly acquisitions and shops.
ETA: The North Belt campus will eventually be where all corp employees will end up in the next 5 years IMO. They are still constructing new buildings.

If you are interested in drilling the best route for you to go in Halliburton would probably be Sperry Drilling to be an MWD/LWD driller.
I will say though, Sperry is one of the more competitive PSLs to get into with Halliburton. That's just what I've heard though. Could be different in other areas

Cool. I have a decent job now, but an incredibly shitty work environment and only so much room for advancement.
