Does anyone else have to deal with this almost every time they get a haircut? I just go to Great Clips/Supercuts, whatever is close by usually.

I've got a skin condition that a renowned dermatologist basically told me there's nothing I can do. (Ingrown hairs from when I shave) Yet constantly, hairdressers have a magical solution their salon happens to sell.

Just cut my hair, shoot the breeze if so desired, and that's the transaction. Leave me alone otherwise.

That's what happens when you go to a generic Supercuts. They just try to sell you stuff since they don't have anything to talk about

Stop going to those places. Go to a non-chain place and get to know the barber.

This is your problem.
Not only that, you have to wait in a line of people and listen to trash sit around and gossip. Probably got some kind of bullshite talk show on the tv too.

The diagnosis is always AIDS.

You're choosing to go to a cheap salon with girls who could barely cut it in beauty school. They're mostly overweight and unattractive and trashy. And you're doing that to save what? To save $10?

Or you could find a hot girl at a real salon that will get to know you and basically be a family friend while knowing exactly how to cut your hair to your liking.

Lot's of people from here have figured it out. I pay $25 to get a hair cut and get to set an appointment, deal with non trash, and get a bourbon or scotch when I walk in.

I feel like trashy people are the biggest solicitors of false medical advice. Hairdressers at Supercuts, etc are usually pretty trashy.

See that's the problem. You gotta find an old school barber that'll shoot the shite

It's worth the extra $15 not having to listen to an infomercial

They can be the first line of defense against skin cancer. They can see things you probably don't, and see them before your doctor would.

I feel sorry for the bastard who has the misfortune of being the next customer. Hopefully, the hairdresser sterilizes the scissors and combs so as not to spread what you have.

I used to go to a place by campus where the lady would try to sell all natural stuff all of the time. She was really nice and pretty good though so I just feigned interest.
