I took Ambien for a year or so about 7 or 8 years ago. I was also taking Lortab and Soma at the time following neck surgery and still had zero weird experiences. It was the best sleep med I've ever taken - it would knock me out in 10 minutes, I'd sleep great for 8-9 hours and wake up with no problem and no "hangover" effect throughout the day. Have never slept as good after I got off it. Now I take a small dose of Trazodone and Melatonin - very inconsistent and leaves me groggy.

I took that shite and it worked well for a few days...then I woke up sitting in my truck wearing nothing but my underwear with the keys in the ignition...
scared me so bad, I went inside and threw the rest of them away...

Crazy shite happens with that drug. And I have taken it then went off of it. I never found the sleep I got with Ambien to be restful.
A friend of mine got up one night to go pee after taking that stuff and ran smack into the bathroom door. Not the face of it, but the door edge. Several stitches in the middle of his forehead. Didnt even know what hit him. had black eyes as well.

while I was in HS, my mother woke me up to help her with my father. found him curled up in the corner of their room noting the recliner chair from our living room kept chasing him around the house and was making fun of him. he takes ambien many nights, but had messed up and had a glass of red wine after dinner on top of that. its a hallucinogen.

Ambien only worked well for me about the first 5-7 times I used it.
It seems like otc sleep medicine after that..

No it was a blast. A bunch of sunflowers in a vase shaking as if they were waving at me, Louis Armstrong floated out of a Jazz Fest print, throws levitated as well as my grand piano, people in photos moved and smiled, I loved it!
