So, it has nothing to do with the fact a ton of the young professionals in America are up to their eyeball in debt, an aging older generation was crushed in the market and is having to work longer, or the shaky economy that is partially owned by the Chinese can give out at any major catastrophe? No, it's flip flops and jeans.

Flip flops are for the beach. Nothing is as dumb as socks with sandals or flip flops. Maybe flay bills or a hat with a hood over it.

Generational

If I'm out playing drums or certain percussion instruments, shoes don't work.

Now I only once wrote flip flips in the Quarter, and learned the hard way. But while the weather is still nice here in Colorado, I'm wearing those things whenever I can.



I also like to wear them with jeans, just so I don't accidentally end up hanging out with a douche like the OP.

I don't remember the last time I actually wore shoes. I always wear flip flops.

This. Though I recently upgraded to a nice pair of Keen boots. Best I've owned so far. But being trapped in boots all day, the toes need to breath at night.
