I've watched maybe 2 hours of news programming over the last 3 years.

Really??
Please expand on that. How and what are you "helping"?
I'm genuinely curious.

He's probably posting on Poli Talk right now.

It's Berkeley so no shock and no care.

Stop feeding the troll, Darth. He's probably reading your posts and jerking it.

Dollar voting
Foot voting
Paying as little taxes as possible
Funding like people/ideas
Ballot-voting/democracy is a failing system.
The market is far more ethical anyway.

I would wager many of the morons who were in support of Hamas, are Sociology majors.

I've lived in the Bay Area my entire life. No I do not think this was an edited setup. Yes I do think it is more recognition of the flag of Israel than the flag of Isis. Does not matter what he was saying, it was the recognition.
This experiment has been done on the Berkeley campus before. Back in the mid-80's when the UC system was divesting itself from South African corporations due to apartheid, I recall that a columnist from a local newspaper had a Black friend go to Sproul Plaza and wave a South African flag stating he was from Mozambique which was being torn apart by civil war and wanted support for the MRN which was being supported by the South African government. While there was much indifference to his presence he did receive some modest support.
The following week the columnist who was White went back to Sproul Plaza waving the same South African flag and requested that the UC system reconsider keeping their investments in South African corporations. An angry crowd formed and he had to be escorted off campus by police.
If I recall he stated that the experiment proved uniformed association (I'm sure those aren't the exact words he used). White guy/South African flag=apartheid, Black guy/South African flag stating he was from Mozambique=oppression, despite the fact that South Africa's support of the MRN was to unstabilize an newly independent, Black rule country.

Who put that government in power? Last time I checked we still elect those who represent us. So if you think the government is shitty then you also think the people are shitty.
This is such a juvenile, 12-year-old vision of American politics.
Newsflash: American politics are dominated by the Republican and Democratic parties. If a politician isn't supported by the special interests and big money that make these political machines run, then s/he has virtually no chance of making it in an national-level election. This is how it comes to be that the elections come down to the douchebag vs. the turd sandwich.
