Yeah, that would be impossibly frustrating. Part of balancing on a bike is turning the handlebars in the direction you're falling.

That would be like switching to inverted controls on a video game. Makes me want to break stuff.

I think the real question is, is he able to have both skills at once and flip the switch on command with enough practice.

It is thought that if he practiced enough he could switch back and forth at will.

Most interesting thing I found was how fast his little boy learned how to ride it. Being young is an awesome time.

I've seem bikes like that in the fair. If you could ride it 10' they would give you an eletric scooter.
