Crime happens in every city. Y'all are such pussies for worrying and crying about this. It's not even close to 90s level violence.

You forgot:

It is her fault for not having her head on a swivel. She should have been paying more attention. She basically asked for it.

Damn that got me for a second, my buddies mom lives on the 3400 block of GT not 2400.

That's the Milan neighborhood, it's still a bit rough I suppose. All the freret street gentrification is mostly across on the other side of Napoleon.... but honestly the Broadmore side across Claiborne between the parkway and Nap has really come a long way fwiw

On topic, the criminals in a crime like this need life without parole. That would be the first step in helping solve our issues.

reform our criminal code. Don't make so many criminals out of people for minor shite. Make room. Completely throw away anyone that has a propensity for violence. ????. Profit.

Crime is still a problem in New Orleans but it really isn't close to 1994 level.

There's been 100 murders in New Orleans so far this year. New Orleans is on a pace to reach 184 murders by the end of the year.

In 1994 there were 195 murders... BY MAY 30th! That's insane. By the end of the year the city ended up with 421 murders.

You would think with the amount of murders, the crime would start to drop. God, it's depressing what an absolute shite hole New Orleans has become.
