I'm shocked to discover people not only like living in Metry, but some are actually proud.

So true except metairie is ten times better than Baton Rouge. You can live next to great stores shops and malls instead of driving thirty minutes to bluebonnet. Its also not a ghetto shithole.

A long time ago, I had a little incident in Jefferson Parish, drunk, headbutted a cop, that kind of stuff,took me down to the lockup at Gretna they messed with me a few minutes, about how they were going to mess me up, steal all my money, all that kind of stuff, then told me to get the hell out of there, gave all my money, all of my personal items etc.,I was happy. Really though, as an outsider driving through, if it wasn't for the signs, I don't know one place from the other.

Had lunch at Drago's in Metry today on my way to the airport. It wasn't bad, it wasn't amazing. I'd eat there again.
