You should also ask the doc if he has anything that can fix stupid.

Hey, I'm stopping by Walgreens, any home remedy things I should grab? It's really fricking hurting now. I'm getting some ibuprofen for sure....

If it's getting worse I'll stop by an urgent care tomorrow I guess

The infection is what's hurting.

Some neosporin probably wouldn't hurt. But you really need to get the metal shaving removed.

Next time take a really sharp knife or a razor blade, drag it across the top of the shaving in the opposite direction it went in. The sharp blade usually will grab the shaving and pop it right out.

did you get all of the metal shaving out?
what did you clean it with?
Always just can cut open the area and rub it down with some rubbing alcohol/Peroxide.
Or will me the Jordans.

Get good and liquored up before you dig into your finger with the razor.

Film the procedure and load it onto YouTube

No he did not. I guess he just thought it would dissolve all by itself.

I have one in my right index finger right now. It's been there since Thursday. Not swollen but it hurts when I grip something. Plan to soak it in hot water tonight and dig it out. No big deal, par for the course when you work around steel.

I've had hundreds. Best thing to get them out is a hypodermic needle, a fingernail clipper and set of tweezers.

If you get a big enough needle you can use it to cut with. Then use the tweezers or fingernail clipper to pull it out.
